There is now an ICE detention center operated by CoreCivic just 29 miles from downtown Kansas City. The documented, inhumane treatment perpetuated by both ICE and CoreCivic had resulted in the death and injury of detainees, including innocent immigrants.
These entities must know that Kansas City HAS ITS EYES ON ICE AND CORECIVIC. We WILL NOT forget the lives harmed and lost in our prison-industrial complex or in America’s systems of injustice.
