Join us for Justice Isn’t for Sale: People Powered Print Shop, a hands-on workshop exploring the role of DIY art, visual storytelling, and messaging in social and political movements. We’ll take a look at how ordinary people have used art to build power, challenge powerful interests, and bring communities together around shared causes. After learning about the history of movement art and DIY organizing, participants will create their own posters and prints to help educate Kansans about the August 4th ballot measure on judicial selection. Whether you’re an experienced artist or have never made a poster before, this workshop is designed for everyone. We’ll provide the materials, inspiration, and space to create. No artistic experience required. All supplies provided.
