The Children’s Peace Parade is an opportunity to envision a shared future with our children that is rooted in community-building, mutuality, joy, and justice.

On Sunday, May 31st from 1-4pm, we will gather on the lawn west of the Loose Park shelter (5100 Wornall, 64112) for a community picnic!

From 1-3p, kids & families can visit activity stations under the shelter (collaborative art! story time! nature activities!) and connect with local organizers* and each other.

At 3:00 pm we’ll PARADE around the park with the Sass-a-Brass band!!! (Bring an instrument, if you’d like!) We can’t wait to picnic, play, and parade with you!

Suggested donation: We appreciate any contributions towards offsetting our event costs! We are not for profit and community organized—all donations will go towards activity materials & compensating the Sass-a-Brass band musicians! Please choose the ticket cost that works best for your family.
