As we continue to see the rogue actions of federal immigration enforcement (ICE), it is imperative we prepare ourselves with knowledge and relationship building. Sanctuary Alliance is hosting a Community Solidarity and Defense Training. We will be training on what to do if you suspect immigration enforcement or ICE activity, how to keep yourself and your neighbors safe and education on the local effort to support the impacted community. We will provide next steps to expand our network into neighborhoods to support all in Lawrence and Douglas County. Please note that this event is sponsored by the Lawrence Interfaith Network (LIN) and will be held at Plymouth Congregational.
