About KC Women's Action Collective
KC WAC is a community of women and allies who seek to build a more just and equitable world. Through our local efforts in Kansas city, we seek to create a better world for all people, starting here at home.
KC Women’s Action Collective Believes:
- Women’s Rights are human rights.
- All people have the right to bodily autonomy.
- Our LGBTQIA2+ siblings hold the inalienable right to live their lives in safety and as a welcome part of our society.
- The ultimate strength of any economic system begins and ends with the workers, who must be protected and empowered.
- Any meaningful movement for liberation must amplify voices of color and acknowledge that racism is endemic to our society and must be actively confronted.
- No human being is illegal.
- No human being is illegal on stolen land.
- No economic system is inherently ethical or moral, but that democracy is the truest safeguard against the forces of greed, corruption, and fascism that naturally inhabit the halls of power.
