Join Sunrise Movement – Kansas City & KC Data Center Watchdogs in saying HELL NO to building a 20-story data center in downtown KC!

Revitalization Unlimited is a Miami-based private equity firm that plans on demolishing the historic Western Newspaper Union building located at located at the corner of 10th St. & Central St. (934 Central St.). The building is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. The company has submitted plans to build a 20-story data center.

This event is our registration page to organize members of the public who plan on giving public comment at the City Plan Commission (CPC)’s 9AM meeting on Wednesday, 8/5.

Disclaimer: signing up for this event is NOT the same as registering to give public comment during the meeting, itself. There is time during the meeting for the public to register for public comment virtually and in-person.
Not sure how to give public comment & what to say?

On Tuesday, 7/28, Sunrise Movement – KC is hosting a virtual public testimony training to get interested members of the public equipped and empowered to give public comment at the CPC on 8/5. Sign up for that here
Can’t make it virtually or in person to this event but want to submit public comment still?

Send emails to the City Plan Commission to be registered as public testimony before and during the meeting. We’ve made a template to help you draft and send it!
