We are living through an era of authoritarian resurgence and rising fascism across the United States. Power is being stripped from the people and concentrated in the hands of billionaires, extremists, and politicians who dismantle democracy, weaponize government agencies, and silence dissent. Communities are being targeted through fear, racial profiling, and militarized enforcement, while the free press is attacked, public services are gutted, and the rule of law is warped to shield the powerful. This is not normal—and we will not stand by.

Citizens Against Tyranny (C.A.T.N.) was born out of this critical moment. What began as conversations among concerned citizens quickly became a movement: a statewide and national network dedicated to defending liberty, justice, and the democratic ideals this nation was built upon. From our organizing hub and  50501 Joplin, we work to educate, mobilize, and unite people in the fight for transparency, accountability, and equal rights for all. We are nonpartisan and antifascist, rooted in the conviction that tyranny—of any form, from any side—must be confronted head‑on.

We reject corruption, state violence, and the manipulation of truth for political gain. We reject cowardice and complacency in the face of oppression. We stand for communities over corporations, people over profit, truth over propaganda, and democracy over dictatorship. Guided by the protections of the Constitution and the Fourteenth Amendment, we will defend every citizen’s right to speak, organize, and live free from fear and persecution.

This is our call to action. We will resist authoritarian rule, expose abuses of power, and refuse to accept a future where freedom is for sale. Together, we are building a movement rooted in courage, solidarity, and uncompromising faith in the power of the people. The time for silence is over. The time for courage is now. We will not yield. We will not disappear. We are Citizens Against Tyranny—and we fight for the soul of this nation. We stand for the liberation of our future.
